Testimonials
Lucy,
I wanted to tell you and Rosey BOTH how happy we were with Alex's grooming. He seemed so proud to finally look as he should (not "chopped" as we had said, hahaha). You both seem so loving and caring and it was reassuring that he was a "good dog" for the two of you. I am happy we will be part of your customer base and will be happy to recommend both of you.Thank you for the work you do. You both were caring from the moment you met him and professional. Thank you again. See you in a couple months...

Dear Lucy,
I have been wanting to write a testimonial for some time to express my sincere appreciation AND admiration for the care that you have given Xena. Over the years, I have searched for a groomer who not only does good work but also provides a safe and relaxing environment for my beloved dog. Furkidz has gone above and beyond what I ever thought possible.
Xena's coat has never been healthier and more beautiful. Your styling ability is remarkable and although Imay be biased (just a bit!) I think that she is the most chic dog in Providence! The quality of your products and your highly skilled technique have turned her into a beauty queen.
More importantly, having peace of mind when giving Xena to you is priceless. Xena is happy and relaxed when she visits your "spa" and I know that she is receiving the kindest, most gentle and loving care.
Thank you for taking such good care of us!
Sincerely,
Connie D. (with lots of love from Xena), from "The 903"

What follows is an amazing story. I have a 19 year old Bichon Frise (Nikki) who was badly in need of a grooming. I was no longer able to take him to his regular groomer since he has advanced liver disease and renal failure. (he is also blind and deaf). He can no longer stand for prolonged periods of time for a grooming.
I looked for a mobile groomer in the phone book and telephoned Fur Kidz from Riverside. I spoke to Lucy and spelled out my problem. Lucy explained the way she works and told me that it would probably take about 1 1/2 hours to groom a Bichon. Knowing that Nikki couldn't stand for that length of time, I thanked Lucy but declined her services. Shortly thereafter I received a call back from Lucy. She said that she'd been thinking about my circumstances and offered to come to my house the next day (on a Sunday yet!) and just "clean up" around Nikki's face.
The next day Lucy appeared at my house at the time we had designated. She was a lovely woman and extremely gentle with Nikki. She did a wonderful job grooming around his eyes, beard, neck and ears. He looked so much nicer! When Lucy was done, I asked her how much I owed her. To my shock, she refused to take any payment for her services and told me that instead she'd appreciate it if I would make a donation to the RISPCA.
Therefore, enclosed please find a donation in the amount of $50. Please accept this small donation on behalf of Fur Kidz and please do let people who come in to adopt animals know about Fur Kidz and their random act of kindness.
Sincerely,
Joyce, from Rumford
